My mom played tennis in high school and was the first person to introduce me to the game. I started playing tennis when I was 10 years old and have been playing competitively ever since. I have played in USTA, ITF, as well as WTA tournaments. I play 6 days a week with practice during the week and tournaments on the weekend. I fell in love with the game and all of the different aspects that go into it.
Tennis has been a huge part of my life for a very long time and it has taught me so much both on and off the court such as time management, being responsible, and being a leader. I don't know what my life would be without it.
Tennis is an extremely unique sport because of the fact that you are out there on your own with no help from coaches, teammates, or family members. This makes it very difficult but is also one of the reasons I love it.
